Chinmaya Educational Cultural and Charitable Trust, Trivandrum was registered in 1988 , with Poojya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji as the President .The founder members of the Trust included Shri. A.S.Menon, IAS, Smt. L.Omanakunjamma, IAS, Shri. K.Ramachandran Nair, IAS, Shri.P.Gangadharan Pillai from Kollam, Dr. A.S.Narayana Pillai, Dr. Mavelikkara Achuthan etc. The Trust was instrumental in expanding the educational activities of Chinmaya Mission in Trivandrum and Kollam and the Acharyas who served the Mission at Trivandrum and Kollam have also contributed immensely and guided these institutions to achieve its present status in growth and reputation. Shri.K.K.Nair , a senior Banker was the Chief Sevak from 1993 to 2008. After fifteen years of selfless service to Poojya Gurudev and the Mission he took retirement in November 2008. Shri.R.Suresh Mohan, a Chartered Accountant by profession has been appointed as Chief Sevak by Poojya Guruji and he has assumed office from November 2008.
